Methylsulfonylmethane or MSM is a prevalent dietary supplement which has been widely promoted for a variety of conditions including pain, inflammation and arthritis. MSM is a sulfur containing compound, and, since most people are sulfur deficient unless they eat their fish and meat raw and their vegetables uncooked, it is a good source of sulfur.
