Ur24T

Ur24T

Ur24T has invented the first external catheter sytem which actively empties the bladder for men, women and pediatrics.

Ur24Technology was founded by Landon Duval, an inventor and entrepreneur.  Mr. Duval has numerous inventions and his most recent invention of the external catheter was the start of Ur24T.  The "Uncatheter" was invented after Mr. Duval saw his friend suffer from nocturia, a condition in which a person wakes often during the night to urinate.

DuVall researched, designed, and developed five different prototypes before his idea became a reality.  Today, Ur24Technology has patents for their external catheters specifically designed for Adult Males, Adult Females, Infant Males and Infant Females.

Ur24Technology's innovative catheter system seeks to remove the high risk of Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTIs).  Of all hospital-acquired urinary tract infections, 80% are a result of internal catheters.  The Ur24T patented catheters can obtain the same results of an indwelling catheter, while removing the risk of infection.

Currently, there are several external catheter brand options available for men and even fewer options for women.  However, the Ur24Technology catheters are unique because they empty the bladder completely without the necessary muscle control needed to urinate.  The Ur24T Urine Collection Apparatus (UCA), which is the part that is in contact with the body, has a ten foot tube which is attached to an aspirator.  The low suction of the aspirator extracts the urine and moves the urine to a collection canister.  This process avoids urine to skin contact and even allows for a "clean catch" urine specimen with initial use.

The Ur24Technology revolutionary catheters are non-invasive, non-adhesive, latex-free, leak-proof, easy-to-use (no medical training needed), and eliminates the discomfort and risk of infection from an indwelling catheter.
