Biokleen
Biokleen
Ahead of his time, founder Jim Rimer, originally became uneasy with the heavily manufactured cleaning products during the 1980s. He observed the rashes and respiratory illnesses, attributing them to toxic cleaners. Biokleen emerged from Rimer’s desire to eradicate these side effects and harness the power of nature, creating powerful, non-toxic cleaning products.
After studying chemistry and botany, Rimer created All Purpose Cleaner II in his Portland, Oregon garage. Over 30 years later, Biokleen has expanded its products to include laundry, kitchen, bathroom, all-purpose, and even pet products that are all phosphate, chlorine, ammonia, petroleum solvents, alcohol, butyl, glycol ether, brighteners, artificial color, and artificial fragrance-free.
Biokleen’s non-toxic products include laundry soap, Bac-Out, and dish soap. Biokleen’s laundry and dish liquids use plant and mineral-based products the eliminate odors and dirt trapped in fabrics. Bac-Out comes in stain and odor removing forms, and one can use it on carpets, laundry, and trash cans to eradicate smells and restore a fresh scent.
