Glyphosate stops nutrients from being released, and prevents the body from getting the nutrition that it needs. When trying to combat the onset of Alzheimer’s, maintaining proper zinc levels is very important. Proteins in the brain need to be the right shape and size, and when their shape changes the proteins become defective. Zinc plays an essential role in fighting the formation of the protein bundles, and in turn fighting Alzheimer’s disease. This is why the body’s interaction with glyphosate has been linked to the development of Alzheimer’s disease.

Contemporary agriculture has reduced the amount of nutrients that the body is able to absorb from what were once completely natural foods. This has lead to deficiencies in important nutrients, like zinc, to be more common, and along with this Alzheimer’s disease has become more prevalent. Eating organic foods is now incredibly important, and if you feel that you aren’t getting enough zinc or other nutrients supplementation may be imperative.
