Fundamental Glucosamine Sulfate supplies the body with the naturally occurring compound of glucosamine that aids in maintaining healthy joints and connective tissues. By promoting lubricant secretion in the joints, it actually enhances the mobility of the joints. Fundamental Glucosamine Sulfate contains 1500 mg of glucosamine sulfate per serving. The glucosamine sulfate is derived from shrimp and crab.

Glucosamine Sulfate supports the secretion of hyaluronic acid and maintains the healthy functioning of the joints by managing the integrity of the matrix of cartilages. The supplement also stimulates the generation of proteoglycans that is largely responsible for the development of connective tissues. This potent joint supplement delivers glucosamine sulfate that gets absorbed by the body easily for joint support. The hyaluronic acid which is the key component of synovial fluid promotes the lubrication of the joints.

Glucosamine sulfate is needed to form glycosaminoglycan and hyaluronic acid molecules which are the main constituents of joint cartilage. It is the joint cartilage that is damaged from osteoarthritis. Glucosamine sulfate may help protect joint cartilage by limiting the breakdown and helping to build up levels of cartilage. Glucosamine has been shown to stimulate chondrocytes (cartilage cells) to support cartilage and collagen. Glucosamine sulfate also enters the joint space and is incorporated into proteoglycans, which are cells that form large structures and attract water to the joint space for lubrication of cartilage during movement.

When Glucosamine sulfate is taken as a dietary supplement, it may help to relieve the pain, stiffness, and swelling of osteoarthritis, a degenerative joint disorder that affects 12% of the population. In addition, rheumatoid arthritis sufferers also report improvements with glucosamine supplements. There is no natural food source of glucosamine, however, the shells of crabs, shrimp and oysters do contain it, and this is the source of most of the dietary supplements.

Fundamental Glucosamine Sulfate is made in America to ensure quality, safety and purity.
