Discovering the ingredients in normal, non-natural dish soap can be life changing. The ingredients found in some of the most common dish soaps include:

ammonium C12-15 pareth sulfate, SD Alcohol 3-A, lauramidopopylamine, oxide, sodium chloride, magnesium sulfate, artificial fragrance, poloxamer 124, pentasodium pentatate, preservative, sodium bisulfate, and dyes.

Dish soap manufacturers aren't proud of these chemicals, and it took a while to track down the different chemicals found in today's dish soap. This list of chemicals is particularly disturbing when you consider that over 60% of what you put on your skin gets absorbed into your body where it can settle in vital organs. Once it is absorbed into the body it can take long periods of time to expunge.

What's in Fundamental Dish Soap?

Now compare that list of ingredients with those found in Fundamental Dish Soap:

saponified organic coconut oil, saponified organic olive oil, saponified organic jojoba oil, lemongrass essential oil, organic orange essential oil, organic aloe vera, organic bergamot essential oil, and rosemary extract.

The list of ingredients in the regular dish soap sounds like a science experiment, while the ingredients in Fundamental Earth's natural dish soap sounds like a culinary delight. The ingredients in Fundamental Earth's dish soap are completely natural, and you can feel safe coming into contact with them on an every day basis.

The chemicals we come in contact with every day are both dangerous and unavoidable. Why use a dish soap that has irritating chemicals? By using Fundamental Dish Soap, which is a natural dish washing liquid, you are completely avoiding the harsh chemicals you come in contact with and absorb every time you wash your dishes.

Fundamental Dish Soap is made in America to ensure quality, purity, and safety.

No suds
I tried doing my dishes by hand, as I always do, but there were no suds, only if I put some on my dish rag and squeezed it, but you have to do it for each item you wash. I was going to return, but wasn't cost effective to do. Also, it left a oil ring around my sink! Not impressed with this product even though it healthier for me to use. I will have to use somewhere else other than my dishes. :(*

Dish soap
I thought at first it was too watery when I hit the sponge with it, but man...does it suds up. And it's a clean sudsing, not slimy. It will last longer than my favorite Dawn, for sure. And rinsed clean, no residue left behind.*

no more dried up hands
I have been using this soap for more than a year now. Love it !! I use airy sponge to help lather better. I used to use rubber gloves to wash dishes but since I started to this soap I no longer use them. Also safer for our septic system.*

Great Find
I have used the EarthTurns body wash for a few years and finally decided to try their other products. I am so pleased with the body wash I figured the other items deserved a try too. The dish liquid is so gentle on skin yet cleans dishes beautifully. I find that if you do as the directions say and wet your sponge then apply alttle soap liquid I get enough suds and plenty of cleaning power. Highly recommend this product.*

Not quite what I like
I like the idea of 'no harsh chemicals' but the idea of pouring it on a sponge to get suds, I do not like. I like the orange smell but I want to be able to pour the soap in the water and get chemical free suds to wash my dishes.
Probably will look elsewhere for a natural, sudsing dish detergent.*

dish soap
I've only used it a couple of times so far, but it seems to work well, suds up nicely in the sponge. I might try a different scent next time if there is one -- the citrus is so strong it almost reminds me of citronella bug spray or citrus oil wood stain. But it's not bad. Was delivered quickly, and had great customer service when I called with a question before ordering.*

Fundamental Dish Soap--It's wonderful!
It's perfect! There's nothing bad in it! I would never have believed it would be such a struggle to find a non-toxic dish soap. I've finally found it! It's so sudsy, too, and fun to use--and it smells so good! It's the best smelling dish soap I've ever smelled! I don't understand why anybody would ever think to write a bad review for this soap. Thank you, Fundamental and Earth Turns, for caring! *

No complaints!
I recently went chemical free and found this product on Earth Turns and gave it a try despite some negative reviews. I am pleased with its performance. If you want suds, you have to squirt some of the detergent on the sponge and wet it and it suds right up. I love the scent and have confidence in its safety as it can be used on fruits and vegetables, too. I am happy to be using a natural dish soap that is not putting chemicals on my skin or my dishes.*

Average
I hate to give a bad review. I bought the Fundamental Dish Soap because of the Good Ingredients and no sulfates, chemicals and junk. I like the smell, however I am just not used to washing dishes without the suds. I think it did an adequate job for some stuff but other things seemed to have grease spots or just not squeaky clean. I am mixing it with a 97% natural dishwashing liquid that has some suds and that is working fine. I am using more of the Fundamental Dish Soap and a tiny bit of the other.*

Smells great
Doesn't foam up quite as much as I would like, but it smells great and doesn't have the harsh chemicals that other soaps have. *

Really Good Dish Soap
At first, I was just squirting it onto the dishes, and it wasn't working great, but then I read the directions.

I started squirting it onto a moist sponge, then gently squeezing and releasing the sponge a few times. Presto!!! It suds, lasted long, and cleaned my dishes like a champ!

I really like the real orange smell and my hands feel nice afterwards. Definitely a great product.

Also, I like squirting a bit on my apples to clean them before eating them.

different
I don't normally use a sponge to do dishes, so it has been an adjustment. I like the way it smells and how easy it was to suds up. Not sure if it helps to cut grease though.*
