Welcome to EarthTurns
Dawn and dusk - that's what we've learned are the times when bugs, mosquitoes and other insects are most active. Whenever you're outdoors and there are bugs around, you'll want a natural bug spray that's safe to use for the whole family.Improved standards in manufacturing have made it possible for consumers to be more discriminating in their choice of natural insect repellents. Given some of the dangerous chemicals contained in most insect repellents, more and more people are choosing a natural bug spray when they go off on their camping trips and mountain hikes.
When looking for a natural bug spray, read the product label very well and see how many hours' protection it will provide. Some commercial products have very high concentrations of DEET and other harmful ingredients and children under 12 are particularly vulnerable. Given the controversy surrounding pesticides and insect repellents, your best option is to go with all natural insect repellents. While there are alternatives to using products against mosquitoes and bugs, experts generally do not recommend them for personal health reasons. These alternatives include mosquito traps with strong odors and wrist, neck and ankle bands that contain high concentrations of repellents.
Directions: Shake well before each use. Spray directly on entire area of skin to be protected. Reapply as needed. For sensitive skin, apply a small amount of the product to test before full use.
