Neti Pot Directions:
STEP 1: Rinse out the Vaxa Neti Pot to remove any dust or dirt each time before using.
STEP 2: Fill the reservoir section with warm water.
STEP 3: Dissolve 1/4 teaspoon of Vaxa salts, table salt or sea salt into water.
STEP 4: Lean over the sink, tilting your head to one side, and align the spout’s tip with the nostril which is upturned.
STEP 5: Allow the saline solution to flow gently into that nostril. Don’t inhale. The pot is designed to let the water flow properly with the help of gravity. It should flow across the nasal cavity to exit through the other nostril.
STEP 6: Blow your nose gently with both nostrils open. Closing one nostril could hurt your ears, allow water into the ear, or even injure an eardrum.
STEP 7: Repeat the previous steps leaning to the other side.
STEP 8: Rinse the Neti Pot thoroughly; remove any nasal debris from spout. |
