Odorless Garlic Oil Capsules - Garlic Oil Benefits

Our Garlic Caps Odorless Garlic Oil provides the health benefits of fresh garlic, without its unpleasant side effects. Basically, research has shown that garlic can help reduce cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure, may have anti-cancer benefits, as well as antibacterial and antifungal characteristics.

People have been using garlic in meal preparation and as a supplement for centuries. It has been known that there are many health benefits of garlic. Finally, researchers have shown that what folks have known for years is true. Garlic ranks high among foods that help prevent disease, mostly due to its high content of organosulfur compounds and antioxidant activity.

The problem with fresh garlic is that it can cause indigestion and it has a pungent odor, that lingers on the breath and skin and can be very offensive. These disagreeable effects of fresh garlic are due to allicin which is an oxidant released upon cutting or chewing the clove. Our odorless garlic oil supplement eliminates this problem altogether.

Garlic Oil Research

More than twelve excellently designed clinical studies have been published around the world that confirm that garlic in can reduce cholesterol levels. Numerous studies revealed that the organic ingredient of garlic, allyl sulfur, is effective in inhibiting or preventing cancer development. Out of the 37 studies, 28 studies showed evidence that garlic can prevent cancer. The evidence is particularly strong in prevention of prostate and stomach cancers. An interesting finding is that researchers discovered that smokers with high garlic intake have a relatively lower stomach cancer risk than smokers with low garlic intake. In a large-scale study, called the Iowa Women's Health Study, researchers looked at the garlic consumption in 41,000 middle-aged women. The results revealed that women who regularly consumed garlic had a 35% lower risk of developing colon cancer.

Many of these studies also showed positive benefits of garlic in heart disease, specifically by lowering total cholesterol, the bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides. Another benefit of garlic is its ability to possibly lower high blood pressure. Other studies also revealed that garlic can have antibiotic and antifungal effects. We want to point out that there were also a number of studies showing conflicting results. Despite of the conflicting results of some studies, results of the majority of the clinical studies seemed to show promising benefits of garlic in heart disease for its ability of lowering blood cholesterol and anti-clogging blood vessels.

Garlic Oil Side Effects - Precautions

Be cautious if you are taking garlic supplements and blood thinners such as aspirin and warfarin at the same time. Garlic supplements will further thin your blood and it is suggested to discontinue garlic supplementation at least 7 days prior to surgery.
