Although this is the norm, there are several brands of omega-3 fish oils which provide higher ratios than this. We've found that Fundamental Omega 3 by Fundamental Earth, has 1,200 mg per softgel with a ratio of 60% EPA and 40% DHA. This is a very good value per fish oil supplement. Some of the most common fish to find omega-3 oils in are salmon, anchovy, mackerel, and even sardines.
