I have tried many ways to relieve my arthritic thumbs (basal join arthritis/with bone spurs in them as well), and I've even been through the physical therapy and cortisone shot route. I've used many otc as well as perscription ointments, oils, lotions... and so far, this is what is giving me the most relief. Since I am a quilter and overall busy-body (use hands constantly), I have been desperate to find relief. I like this one also because it's so easy to apply. I roll it on, rub it in, and I'm done. The smell (like Ben-Gay) goes away shortly after, unlike many other products on the market. I apply it first thing in the morning and while watching tv before bed. That seems to work. I still have the pain at the very base of the joint, but all the pain that used to radiate outward from that point is much relieved. I'm so thrilled I've finally found this!
